In April 1999 Richard joined McCartneys LLP Hay-on-Wye office, having previously worked for an auctioneers company in Mid Wales. During his time in Hay-on-Wye he developed his estate agency skills and knowledge before taking over the rental department and expanding the business.
In April of 2006 Richard took over as property manager of the Leominster Office and joined a team rapidly increasing the estate agency business, to include not only house sales but developments, commercial properties and the rental sector. His interest in rental properties has enabled him to help McCartneys LLP as a whole, through new legislation and laws relating to letting matters.
Richard comes from farming background with a keen interest in the countryside and rural matters. He plays cricket for Hay-on-Wye and still enjoys watching all sports, particularly rugby.
