Personal Information

Claire joined McCartneys at the Kington office in July 2005 as an assistant rural surveyor. Having gone through Harper Adams gaining a 2:1 honours degree in Agri-food Production with Management and Marketing, Claire is now enrolled with the College of Estate Management, doing a RICS accredited post graduate diploma in surveying to enable her to take her RICS exams in April 2008. She is also studying for her CAAV exams which she intends to taking shortly.

Claire is aiming towards specialising in valuation and planning, together with all other aspects of rural professional work such as Farm business tenancies and grazing agreements, Landlord and Tenant negotiations, marketing and sales of farms and dispersal sales.

Now married to John, Claire lives near Hay-on-Wye on the family farm and enjoys assisting on the farm and partaking in sporting activities such as Tug-of War and Skiing.
